Struggling

I seriously can not loose weight! I've been trying hard for over 2 months. At first i was loosing just by watching what i was eating, now i'm drinking a protein shake in the morning, doing cardio 4-5x per week...and i've gained 6 pds! WTH! I'm tracking my calories and staying below my calories daily.. I'm currently 146 and 5' 7, not overweight, but i would still like to think down 10lbs. How do i do this? It's like my body just won't do it!

    Whats your diet like?

    Are you varying your levels of cardio intensity?

    Have you taken photos/measurements?

    Also, add some resistance/strength training in there.

    Yesterdays meal:

    Protein shake for breakfast
    Grapes for a snack
    Grilled chicken salad for lunch
    I cheated and had a mini muffin and a piece of chocolate
    Roasted chicken for dinner, macoroni salad (wheat noodles) and green beans

    I did the eliptical trainer for 20 minutes
    Row machine for 5
    Then some core work and strength training

    And lots of water~

    Without seeing your food diary it's hard to make any recommendations, but your BMI is definitely in the healthy range and it's much more difficult to lose those last few pounds. Realistically a loss of a half pound per week would be a reasonable goal.

    I feel the same way. I bust my butt working out, I stay within my calorie intake, and I also do protein shakes for breakfast. I even have the Jillian Michaels Body Revolution plan, and the weight still isn't coming off like I want it too!! Ugh
