Jr Prom: Got ditched inside the door by my date. Spent the whole evening with my best guy friend. We moped at a table because his date was on the floor sucking face with someone else. Last song of the night, BGF and I danced (date came to find me, claims he came to apologize, he got very mad when he saw me with Josh hehehe).

New year's eve Senior year, my BF (now hubby) invited me to a party at his house. My old date was there, with his mother. Who proceeded to tell me I ditched her son for my gay lover and I'm nothing but a dirty alcoholic wh*re. BF (now hubby) threw all of them out on the street.

Senior Prom: Had a ball with my date. Dress was perfect. Hair was perfect. I walked the red carpet with my date on one arm (now my Hubby Dear) and my father in full firefighter gear on the other (our ride was a fire engine!). Had a blast at prom, skipped afterprom, and we went to Steak N' Shake at 2 AM. One of my best memories.

Would NEVER repeat JR prom and the events afterward, but senior prom I would definitely repeat.

I graduated early at 16 and didn't go to prom so what I would do over would be to go in the first place!

I wouldn't let my date have those last couple of drinks!

Never made it into the prom. I carried her from the limo to my car.

So a week before senior prom, I broke up with my boyfriend after making a pact with a (super hot, super popular) guy friend that he'd do the same and we'd go together... all arranged via AIM back in the good ol' days. One of our good friend's mom/also a teacher at our school was diagnosed with terminal cancer that spring, and she was adamant that we have a post prom sleepover at her house, as we'd done multiple times after Homecoming dances. We were always well supervised; no sex, booze, etc under her watch. My new date wanted to ditch our somewhat goodie two shoes friends to go party with the popular kids after prom, but I didn't want to rock the boat with the sick mama, so we compromised and I promised to take him to a college party in Chicago the night before prom.

Long story made (sorta) shorter, we ended up getting incredibly drunk on Malibu and Mike's hard lemonade and seriously fooling around at this party before passing out next to each other. I had the worst, most acidic hangover of my life and just remember driving out of Chicago at 5am to get home and showered before my ridiculously early hair appointment. I was super worried that stuff was going to be awkward after that as we weren't THAT SORT of friends, but aside from his horrific orangey tan, he was truly a perfect date. We never repeated the fooling around, but we laughed about it well into college.

So now? I'd change nothing except for his tan and my weight at prom (just BARELY fit into a size 16 dress that I LOVED. Tried it on the other day. Too big. )

My husband went with me. He had graduated 4 years before me and totally went. He also drove on no sleep to my graduation. :)
