I would say 4. I measure every darn thing I eat. I had a subway italian sub a few weeks ago and took the salami off and weighed it

    3 large slices were 1 ounce.:flowerforyou:

it depends on the diameter of the slice. the weight of a thin slice that is the diameter of a quarter would weight less than one the diameter of a silver dollar or my wrist. I've seen salami come in all sorts of sizes. I would suggest estimating - I think there are 16 oz in a pound. If half of the salami is left over (8 oz) cut it into 8 equal size pieces. If 75% of it is left over, then there are 12 oz, and cut into 12 equal pieces.
  • I would guesstimate 2 or 3. But hard to know for sure without weighing it or at least being able to divide up the pound she bought visibly. But good luck!
