Anyone Have Uneven Soreness?

I've been walking a lot lately. I'm starting to notice that on one side, the arch of my foot and thigh are sore. And on my other leg, behind my knee and calf is sore. Not hurting, just tender enough to notice when I walk. To my knowledge, I haven't been walking odd. How is this? Anyone else experience this?

When you go for a walk, do you get halfway and then turn around an retrace your steps? Or do you make a loop?

If you make a loop, you may be on uneven pavement, which is stressing one side more than the other.

You may also have on leg shorter. A trip to a running store can fit you with good shoes and even an insert on just one leg to help with that.

Thanks! I do both actually. When I walk at work, it's a loop. When I go to the lake, it's walking one way and then tracing back. I'm wearing shoes to comfort my heel spur or else I'd look at going to a running store. Actually, I'm not even sure where a running store is. Do you mean a shoe store? I'm thinking about getting an insert in one shoe. Now that I think about it, the arch of my foot has been sore on the leg that is shorter. So maybe another arch support would do the trick.

There are actually running stores. One in my area is called Fit2Run.
