Hi! I have readjusted my numbers to eat 35% carbs (105g), 35% protein (105g), and 30% fat (40g) since I really want to reduce belly fat! However, after reading several online articles looks like I should be eating less than 70 grams of carbs/day. Is that right? What is working for you guys?

I depends on your body. A lot of those sites that say you'd lose "belly fat" from lower carbs probably base it on the fact that a lot of people are less tolerant of certain carbs that causes bloating. You're actually losing water weight when you rid yourself of a food sensitivity.

I'm below 30g of (net) carbs - say below 60g if you include fiber. Belly fat is moving but is last to do so, so I'm not convinced there's a magic macro split to attack the belly fat but I seem to lose well generally on low carb.

Dr Eades has a book "6 weeks to lose the middle age belly" or some such, it has three 2 week phases - the first is low carb high protein three shakes and a meal per day.

Low carb reduces water weight, not belly fat, that's a calorie thing.

This. You are not going to get rid of belly fat simply by eating low carb unless you also eat at a calorie deficit. At a calorie deficit, you'll lose fat all-over, not just on the belly, and you'll lose as dictated by your genetic make-up. You might lose that belly weight first/fast, or you might not. I lose quickest in my bust and thighs... my belly is stubborn and likes to stick around.

Keeping my carbs at 70 and under has worked for me since April of last year. Yes. I was at a calorie deficit, but it was easier for me with the low carb approach.

Everyone else's mileage may vary. Good luck and keep getting opinions.
