I guess I am getting paranoid too.
I can't believe it's the last day of June. :noway:
Well, I found one of my books. Still looking for the other specifically on candida. The one I found is about toxins. I did find a website about the diet. Here's a link for the foods that I can have, can have once in awhile, and not at all.

Yeah I'm not sure I'm ready to tackle this head on. I think I will try to stay wheat free, yeast free, and seriously cut back my sugar intake. I took the "test" on their site and severe was like 78. I scored 161. Yeah.
I don't know that I can get rid of fruits altogether. I feel like I will need something sweet. Also I've never done a rotation diet, so that will be difficult. My mil has done several so she might be able to help me.
I need need NEED to work out today. I have been nauseated for days, either from food or sinuses. Not sure. Maybe both. I just haven't felt like doing anything.
I need to get Alex dressed for tumbling class. I'll probably post more later.
    Happy day boogaloo!

    Hi pebbs,

Today it's the gym for elliptical and to burn off the raw "brownie" I just ate. It's just dates, nuts and cocoa powder. . .so it's still within my "clean eating" goal, but it's pretty high in the calories, so I'm going to do an extra fifteen minutes at the gym. I had a PMS craving, so I caved in a healthier way than if I'd gotten some deserty thing from the store.

Yesterday, I requested that my trainer just do upper body and core with me, and I am sore today. (not crazy sore, just enough to know I did something)

I also already did my comps work for the day. (this actually seems to be the thing to do. . .I felt relieved all day yesterday, because I'd already done my time for the day)

So, it's vits, water, elliptical and some shopping at the butcher and the produce market. (I love my neighborhood sometimes. . .it's like old-timey shopping. I even know my butcher, in fact the other day my husband went there and didn't have his wallet. . .so, they just made a note of it and sent him on his way. Gotta love that.)

MM, that diet is pretty restrictive (I did a "yeast cleanse" years ago.) I think it's good as a re-boot of your taste buds, though. My thing that I hated the most was no mushrooms or vinegar. . .I think the most important thing is finding out what works for you.

Oh, and wandering. . .I would pay good money (even on an old sports bra) to see that tiara and bridesmaid dress get-up. Hilarious!

    Take care!:flowerforyou:

Hi ladies! I am sleepy today. I haven't been getting quite as much sleep or exercise as usual since my friend has been visiting. We did go on a little hike yesterday afternoon, which was nice, but not terribly strenuous. My TOM also came early today. :grumble: I am going to have to get back to a more regular exercise schedule after tomorrow. I said last week that I needed to set some new goals, but I just haven't had time or energy to figure out what they need to be.

Good luck on your eating plan, MM. How did you figure out that you had an issue with yeast? I hope you start feeling better today.

I am thinking of taking a belly dancing class! It starts next week. My only problem is I can't really go barefoot, so I need to see if there are any dance shoes that I could fit my orthotics into. V, you used to do belly dancing, right?

WL, your garage sale sounds fun. What was the door prize for the sports bra? I really need to get rid of a lot of stuff. My husband's birthday is on Thursday, and I'm sure he would like nothing better than a less cluttered house! But I need to come up with something else nice to do or get for him.

    Short week boogaloo!

    Short week boogaloo!

I use orthotics for everything else, and I danced barefoot. I found it actually seemed to help my feet (there's not a lot of jumping around) maybe it strengthened all the little muscles in my feet? Some people did wear soft modern shoes (with elastic on the top), and there might be a pair that you could fit them into. .

I would totally be your bellydance buddy. I miss it (and the ab work), but my studio was really clique-ish, everybody seemed to come with a friend or two and I just got too lonely. Also, my teacher was pressuring me to "get more serious about my dancing. . ." (I think a little bit of that was a compliment, essentially saying I could take it further if I wanted to)but I took up dancing to have something I didn't have to be serious about. If I get the urge, I just crank up the iTunes and dance for the cats. . .although they hate my finger cymbals big time. (they are, however, fascinated by the veil.)

Thanks CP. I'm liable to be a real pain once I start doing this! I get really grouchy when I can't eat what I want. I think I've known for awhile that I have a yeast problem. I don't want to sound gross but I've had toe nail fungus on my big toe for forever! Since I was a teenager. It's not green or anything. The toe nail is just kind of white and scaly. It gets better when I wear nail polish over it. When I take the polish off the toe nail looks more normal. I finally asked the doc about it and she said I could take perscription anti-fungal stuff but it is very very expensive. Also a year or two ago I broke out in a blistery rash on my hands between the fingers. It itches and is even painful. But it went away, so I didn't think much about it. It came back this year, and it went away for the most part. Little "blisters" still pop up on my arms and hands. If I mess with them they spread. Anyway, I have been doing some research and I have some of the symptoms. And you know, really I don't just want to treat the problem with meds. I want to correct the problem and change my eating habits. Knowing I have a physical condition caused by the way I eat, may make me eat better. I know it's going to be painful, but I also know I will not die. TOM starts next week. DH will expect me to be a grouch so why not go through withdrawals then and get it all out of my system.
I'm going to need to do more research before I jump on the wagon but I need to start working on cutting out some of the stuff anyway.
I don't like to do anything that makes me suffer (aren't we all like that?), so I'm hating the idea of doing this but I am hoping it will help.
    That was long. lol
