I've reached my goal!!!
I year ago I weighed 180 pounds and was wearing a size 16. I lost 20 pounds but then gained back 10 over the winter. This January I decided to get serious about getting the weight off for good. Then I found this site and started logging what I ate. What an eye opener!
If you would have told me in January that I would weigh 145 and wear a size 8 I don't think I would have believed it. I've never worn a size 8 in my life! I never even wore a size 10 for more than 2 or 3 months. I am really happy with my progress.
Now that I've reached my goal I see that there is still room for improvement. My legs are still on the heavy side so I think I'm going to adjust my goal to 135. It's not the number that is important to me now, just how I look and how well I can perform in my chosen athletics...cycling and running.
It is possible to reach your goal. Just keep a calorie deficit no matter how small and you will reach your goal. Best of luck to everyone out there!
