I don't know if I am in the right section, but I think this would be fitness. I think someone tried asking this, but there was too much drama, and I need straight answers. Feel free to ask me expound on anything if it would be helpful to an answer.

I would like a flat stomach, with the smooth skin...you know the ones you see in magizines (I do know they are aorbrushed to some degree, but I am trying to help give a visual as to what I mean.

Now, my question: Is it even possible to get a flat tummy after having two children?? I was told you can't have a flat tummy and that there will always be some "goo" as one person put it due to the stretched out skin from pregnancy. And for those women who have had kids and know what I am talking about; I am refering not to love handles, but the area of skin that seem to droop right above the vajingo ;o) areas. Also, they weres natural childbirth, not a c-section if that helps.

I have had two kids, ages 6 and 2, and while my skin has tightened up very well, I still have a little pooch of muscle that sticks out that I believe will need to be repaired surgically once I am done having kids.

It most likely will never be 100%. My stomach is flat-ish, and there's no hanging skin standing up. The skin does hang a little when I am bent over or doing planks. But seriously my abs looks nicer now than it did pre-kids, while standing anyways. I have a 3.5 and a 2 years old.

It's different for everyone, part of it is genetics. I would imagine that the more kids you have the harder it is because the skin had been stretched out more times. I had seen many amazing transformations on MFP. I mean women with 6 pregnancies who have a flat stomach, so don't give up.

And at the end of day, do what make you happy.

I've had two kids. Youngest 9 months old in three days. Both 9lbs+. Gained 45lbs both pregnancies. (Im on the smallish side) Go look at my pictures. You CAN have a flat tummy, it depends on a couple things though. Biggest one - GENETICS, IMO
