It so messes me up! It's super hard to eat healthy when you are on vacation. I still think I did pretty good, but was not able to get in any work out time ( I have a 1 year old running around with no one to watch). I did my best to log everything, but I'm sure I missed some stuff. I hope I can get in some good work out's this week so that when I weigh in I haven't gained everything back! I have a hour long spin class tonight. That should help! URGH!

I hear you! I'm going on vacation this coming weekend and then the week after that! And I have so much weight to lose, at least 30 lbs. AND I don't have internet access when I'm on the week vacation and we're going with my in-laws and we all love to drink. At least I'm breastfeeding, so of course I have to really limit the alcohol in-take so that'll help. But we still always have tons of yummy snacks around all the time!
I think the key on vacations is to just try to stay active and cut yourself a LITTLE slack when it comes to snacks. My plan is to keep busy and take the babe for early morning walks on the boardwalk, that'll definitely help. Luckily she loves to walk and my mother-in-law and hubby will come with so that will be good. Also I'll have to write my food down daily and record it on MFP when I come home. That always helps!!
GOOD LUCK and have fun!0 -
I know what you mean, it really is hard to eat healthy while vacationing. But you do the best that you can and if you gained anything back you start over, it's a new day! I leave in September for 2 week vacation to see my son in Albuquerque, NM and will be driving so I always pack snacks and such with me, much less temptation that way!:devil:0

My plan is to have healthy fruit and veggie snacks around all the time! That way I can feel like I am eating all day and not be hungry but it wont put me over cal. Plan plan plan! I am going to take my kids to Disney Land and I love eating all that crap they sell! But I will take them to the hotel for lunch and nap time, get a small workout while they nap and eat a healthier lunch than the park would have. Then we can go back and have more fun. Also I think that I will be walking a lot there, so that should help. I hope that they let me sneak in apples and nuts, and water, oh my! :devil:0
