    When I read the title to this post, I was so ready to stand up and defend the pit bulls!! What a cute picture! I grew up with a pit bull - sweetest dog in the world and would do anything for her family!

    This!! I have a Pit right now, and am wary about posts about Pits after Maryland's recent law that Pits are inherently dangerous animals.

    I have a pitt Puppy. He's actually pitt/mastiff mix. He's currently 120 lbs and growing. He's also the sweetest dog in the world and wants nothing more than to be loved. That's all any of these animals want. For anyone to say they are inherently dangerous is ludicrous. A lady asked me last week if my dog has "that pitt bull mentality." I told her "ABSOLUTELY; he is adorable, loving, loyal, and sweet as pie, just like all other pitts! He's not nearly as mean as his owner!"

    He is a cutie too! They are a good breed. Very smart and loyal. They only become vicious when they've been abused. That is what is truly sad about it.
