I am trying to find the best breakdown for eating carbs, protein and fat. I am reading about it and am getting that I should have 50% carbs and 25 and 25 for protein and fat. I have heard that you want the higher percentage to be in the protein you are eating. I am eating a 1250 calorie diet and at times eating back calories and I have played with it recently and now I have a crap load of calories left, but am limited in all other areas. I want to be on an even slope. HELP!

There's 4 parts. Read them all, then decide.0 -
1250 calories 25% protein = 312 cals protein or 78 grams. This is probably the important one to meet. The others are optional.
You can't have a surplus of calories without having a surplus of either fat, carbs or protein.
Make sure you get the protein, then eat well for the rest of your calories favouring fat over carbs. Avoid "diet" and "lite" versions of things, focus on the calories.0 -
Thank you for the tips and the link. I will be taking a look and making the changes.0
