fat 2 fit question

I was just showing my friend the fat 2 fit website and we're wondering, when it gives you the calculations under "How many calories should I eat" is that a net amount (so, eating back exercise calories?)
I know the calculations that someone on here was kind enough to work out for me I was told NOT to eat back exercise calories because it was already accounted for in my number, so i'm not sure if that's the case with these numbers or not.

If you are going with a sedentary activity level, then you would eat back your exercise calories. If you are going with the activity level that corresponds to your workouts, then you would not eat back your exercise calories, they are already accounted for in the increased base level.0
