Hey everybody...im new to this..if it says you are allowed to eat more because you exercised more are you really supposed to eat more or keep to the normal 1200 and then the extra burns the weight? Does anybody get what im asking?

    Yes, MFP increases your allowed calories to compensate for exercise. MFP recommends that you eat back your exercise calories to reach your minimum metabolic needs, not everyone does that.

    First....make sure that you have your BMR settings. Just by going with 1200 calories may do you more bad than good. If 1200 is your goal, then Eat the extra burn.

    The number MFP gives you has your deficit built in. Basically you could eat at the number MFP gives you, not do any type of workout and lose weight, so when you do workout it creates a larger deficit, so by eating your calories back you are still netting your goal deficit.
