Just give it more time?

It's been a couple of weeks of solidly tracking my calories after a month break (I was very sick with vertigo). I have not lost a pound nor have my measurements changed anywhere. I feel better, more energy but nothing else has changed.
Should I give it more time or change something up? I'm starting at a spot where I'm already in good shape, always exercise but I just ate way too much.
I work out three to four times a week and have for at least two solid years. Heavy lifting with trainer on Monday, Wednesday circuit class, and Friday treadmill, Saturday walking. I'm targeting 1670 calories per day but not counting my exercise calories. BMR is 1920.
Thanks!

This is what worked for me. I had been stuck at 158-160 for about 2 months. No matter what i did i was still there. I felt as i was getting good workouts and eating healthy. My friend suggested i buy a pedometer and i did and was shocked i only did 2000-3000 steps a day which came from my workout bc i have a sit down job. Since that first day i make it a point to do anything i could to get close to 10k a day . ( i read somewhere its the recommended # of steps to see weight loss) anyway Ive gotten alot closer im at about 8k now. Ive just stood at my workstation and walked in place hehehehe
and # 2. i really started watching my sodium. i didnt realize how out of control it was. I was eating btwn 3000-4000mg a day! way too high. I had read in a book thats something that will keep you from losing. I went down to 1200-1500 and in a matter of 2 days of tracking both steps and sodium i lost 4.4. thats after about 2 months of staying about the same or gaining.0 -

Are you still seeing weight loss from doing this after those 4.4lbs? The reason why I'm asking is because my weight will fluctuate +- 5lbs based on how much sodium I eat, but as soon as I eat something with extra sodium the weight all comes back. That's how in January it looked like I lost like 7lbs but in reality I was just eating lower sodium and it soon came all back on once I ate normal levels.0 -
Are you weighing everything you eat? I found that "eyeballing" or using measuring cups/spoons was not working for me. It was a sad when I learned that a serving of shredded cheese was 28 grams and not all I could shove into a 1/4 cup. :-)
Weighing everything keeps me on track. I have issues with portion control (still do now) and that is why I still weigh after 6 months on plan. When my old dinner used to be the entire box of hamburger helper I didn't have to worry about the portion but now that I realize the serving is 1/5 the box I have to concentrate on that a bit more.
Also, are you getting enough protein? My Dr. recommends 20 grams 4 times a day. There are other amounts on net but I think that they would be fairly close to that. Trick with protein is your body can only use 30 grams at a time so you have to spread out throughout the day.0 -
Have you talked to your doctor to ask what is the proper number of mg of sodium per day for you? If you can get that info and stick with the proper daily amount, I would imagine you'll start to see some consistent weight loss. Personally, I don't care for salt or salty foods. So, when I do eat something salty I can appear, on the scales, to have gained up to three pounds over night! But, just one day of eating a healthful amount of sodium and drinking lots of fluids (my favorite is green tea -- I make 8 cups and drink it all day with stevia liquid sweetner) and the scales show me back down where I should be.0

Everyone is different, but it took 3 weeks for me to see any change on the scale.0
