do you drink green tea (not the pill) for weigh loss? if so how many cups a day do you use ? do you add anything to it? i recently started drinking clear green tea with mint and i add grated ginger. I'm drinking 3 cups a day. i wonder if it will help with releasing some of this weight. or if i need to drink more than 3 cups a day. any tips on green tea would also be helpful ... like is it ok to use the lipton bags? or should i be using some other kind?

Hey,
green tea speeds up metabolism so does help with weight loss , I drink nothing but green or herbal teas at home and i add nothing but hot water to it and if im out at a friends house i have boiled water if they dont have green tea .
so keep with it :-)0 -
I drink at least 3 cups of hot green tea a day -- nothing added. I am not sure if it helps -- but it tastes good!0

see that is why i add the ginger because i don't want to get bored with it. so sometimes i have it alone, other times with mint.other times with lemon and other times with ginger .. or ginger and mint. it's awsome!! ginger speeds up metabolism as well and i believe mint aids in weightloss and we know lemon is all so good for you.0

I add slices of lemon to it sometimes..sort of 2 birds one stone. when the weathers nice i make a jug of herbal tea..with all my favourites like green tea, oolong tea and maybe a fruity tea such as raspberry add lemon and ice if its a really hot day. Oh and I make it with hot water but let it cool before i add ice haha.0
