What foods actually fill you up?

For me, i have to have either Pasta, Rice, Potatoes or Bread with every Meal or it's like i haven't really eaten anything!
Some people seem to survive without Carbs (which i just can't get my head around) Lol!
I also find that adding Baked Beans or Kidney Beans to dishes also boosts the substance of the meal.
And why is it, that i find Roast Potatoes or Chips (Thick Fries) filling but not Baked or Boiled Potatoes? This also applies to Toast v Sandwiches. :/

Out of interest, what type of Foods are filling for you......?
