    Not really a cook, but I would think just about anything minus pizza and giant burgers would fit in at 800 cal.

    How about a chicken breast fillet burger (in wholemeal) with a side to suit whoever ur feeding :) there are healthy alterantives to everthng so his would be good for kids too as it is like a take-away but home cooked :)

    indeed. 6 ozs steak with three vegetables and some home made ice cream for dessert.
