    From a windy city but not Chicago. Am from Cheyenne Wy. Was just in Chicago on St. Patties day. The size of everything in Chicago just blows me away. Especialy the three or four story Nordstroms.
    Am new to MFP.

    I'm not FROM IL but I currently live in IL-- the bustling metropolis of Urbana. :) Actually I really like it here.

    Currently in Northwest Indiana, but I lived and/or worked in lots of the other "Chicagoland" places listed in this thread at one time or another!

    That commute from Gurnee to Chicago is no fun! How do you even have time for fitness?!

    I live in Illinois. Alton to be exact, which is less than a half hour drive into St. Louis, Missouri and a good solid 5 hours from Chicago. It is funny...even though I live in Illinios, I have rarely ever been to Chicago. I go to St. Louis all of the time.

    I'm originally from a small town about an hour south of Springfield (called Gillespie) but I now live in the Netherlands, Amsterdam more specifically. Planning a trip "home" in 19 more days and cannot wait to be in the good ole USA!
