exercise and epilepsy

I need to shake up my exercise routine. My problem is, I can't go to yoga classes or other exercise classes where I'd be required to hang my head upside down because I have epilepsy, and the blood rushing to my head could trigger a seizure. However, I only have two at-home exercise routines, one that mixes strength training with some dumbbells and light aerobics, and a kickboxing routine, which at the moment are both 20 minutes long. Does anyone know something I can do that won't trigger a seizure? Any help would be great.

You need to talk to your doctor. Seizure triggers vary with the person. Some people never learn what triggers their seizures. I haven't they slightest idea what preludes my seizures. BTW I was never told anything about blood rushing to your head. That is new to me. If all you are worried about is not putting your head down, there are lots of exercises.

There should still be plenty you can do at yoga or other exercise classes that doesn't involve going upside down. Yoga, specifically, should be tailored to the individual. When you go to a class, simply tell the instructor about your condition, and s/he should help you modify positions, or suggest something different to do when the rest of the class is doing inversions. Same thing for other types of exercise. Any good instructor will help you make the most out of their class (without causing you any danger), or will be able to suggest a more suitable class if their's involves too much time spend upside down.
