Kickboxing

Hello Everyone,
Each week at the gym I take a "box and burn" class- much like an aerobics + kickboxing class for 45 minutes. I was wondering if anyone could approximate how many calories that burns? I know the best way would be a heart rate monitor, but I'm just a broke college student Thanks!

It depends on how much you weigh and exactly how hard you are working. Are you punching actual bags or just doing footwork on the floor. Are you jumping while kicking? The more effort you put into your kickboxing workout the more calories you will burn. You are most likely burning 400+ depending on your effort.0

 Same here! Broke college student!! I do a mix of a kenpo karate/ kick boxing workout video and it's estimated to burn (from what I have read on the internet) from 400 - 650 calories. The more effort and the more you weigh the higher your calorie burn.

You can also type in kickboxing in the exercise diary and it will calculate it for you.0
