Tonight a neighbor asked to borrow my scale. So I went to retrieve it from under the sink to find it soaking wet. Apparently this wonderful hotel we are staying in has a leaky sink and it soaked my scale into only giving me an E status. It is gone... Unsalvagable... And I cried in front of my Hubbins co workers. Who knew a girl would have this kind of reaction to a dead scale? Tomorrow I will be going to shop for a new one and I am now petrified of weighing in Monday morning on a new scale!!! This just totally topped off my bad day I was having anyway. Not food wise, but in every other way. I guess if it HAD to die, today was the day to go. Sigh... RIP dear scale. You've been a good friend, an excellent enemy, a travel companion, and a source of validation for the last couple years. I wonder what kind of faces I would get if I went outside and buried it here at the hotel... Lol that might be the highlight of my day.
