Protein, lifting weights and staying regular?

Hi all, I'm convinced by the arguments about eating more protein when lifting and I love my workouts and have been upping my protein. However I really struggle with constipation when I increase protein, even when I drink as much water as I can manage, eat high fiber foods and include beans and lentils. Has anyone else had this problem (I've always been a bit inclined that way sadly) with increasing their protein and lifting weights, and if so, what's been really effective for you? I do take 1 tbsp psyllium in water each morning. Would love to hear what works for you--apparently this tends to be more of an issue for women I hear.

water and fiber works for me. I go over my fiber requirement a lot. I haven't had an issue. Oh I have coffee. I don't know if it makes a difference, maybe it does.0
