Hi, I'm Sarah. I'm a Zumba fanatic and recently had a Nissen Fundoplication. That is the surgery to fix severe reflux and the complications with reflux. It has left me reflux free but with a reduced size stomach similar to those who have had gastric bypass/ bariatric surgeries. Just want to make friends and develop a community with those who understand what it's like to deal with our different issues involved with trying to be fit and eat right! Add Me!

    I had the Nissen Fundiplacation surgery over 3 yrs. ago--it was a 360 degree surgery. I had it revised down to a 270 degree 8 mos. ago along with intestinal bypass surgery. I have malabsorption along with a smaller stomach. I have to have my vitamin and other levels tested every so many months. The only thing that I was low on was my vitamin D. I have to take 3 multivitamins a day along with calcium citrate pills 2 times a day. How long ago did you have your surgery? Feel free to add me.
