    bump.
    Anyone?
I dont have a HRM so its really hard to know. For example, yesterday as part of my workout I ran 4 laps around the track, alternating jogging and sprinting. How would I log something like that?

You can try something like this
    http://www.caloriesperhour.com/index_burn.php

Or guesstimate. Take your exertion level on a scale from 1 to 10, and multiply by number of minutes.

Log it as running and use the overall average speed you're going. For example, if you're doing 1:1 intervals of 7mph and 3 mph the average would be 5mph over the time you've been doing intervals.

Edit..re-read and realized you probably don't know the speed either. Find the total distance you've gone...say its 1 mile. Use the calculation for 6mph (because the math makes it easy). At 6mph it is a 10 minute mile, so log it as running 10 minutes at 6 mph to match the total distance. The calorie count (above MBR) is not drastically different whether you jog or walk over a certain distance so you can use a different speed to log with the same total distance. Its not a perfect solution but all calorie expenditures are estimates anyway...
