Cutting everything out will just damage you in the long run. It's all about moderation, you're going to be craving all that "bad stuff" within days if you just get rid of it all.0

you do have a point...I'm probably not gonna lose everything. My hubby is a stubborn man...lol I'll probably just buy more healthy things and put those in front so I eat those first. KWIM?0

Good luck! Yeah, I live with my family - and they eat healthy but they do still have soda in the fridge - and sometimes, desserts. I just let it test my will power - but it does make this process waaay more difficult than it needs to be! Haha. Best wishes with everything!0

Here are a couple thoughts that might help. If you do the grocery shopping, try to buy him treats he likes, but you don't. It's easier to resist if it's not your favorite. Second. spend some money on some healthy things you really like, but wouldn't usually buy because of the expense. If you feel like you're indulging yourself on good stuff, it's sometimes easier to stay away from the bad.0

I would amend that to "No more bad food MOST of the time." Everyone has cravings. I think you're quite right not to bring stuff you need to avoid into the home. If you absolutely must, store it in a place that's hard for you to access or even lock it away if you lack willpower.
I once saw a TV interview with a woman who had lost a lot of weight bu who, to maintain her loss had to lock away all the cookies, etc., she bought for her teenaged sons. I thought that was pathetic. Why couldn't she just resist the temptation?
Now I understand she was being realistic. She was doing what was best for her.0 -
I have been very successful by not limiting what my family eats. We still have all their foods in the house. Now we have my foods as well. If I have all of my foods I am not tempted to eat their bad foods.
I eat differently than my family. 95% of the time. Most of my very slender, fit friends eat differently then their family. It means making two meals. But it also means increased personal health and looking good.
If I eat correctly I don't crave their foods. I eat higher protein, moderate carbs. And get out to exercise. Exercise curbs my fiendish appetite.
We mindful. Recommit everyday. Use this site.0
