so i just purchased a treadmill (wooooo!!!) and i have devised kind of a running scheduell for myself when im on it. its 30 min a day.

2mph - 5 min
3mph - 5 min
4mph - 1 min
3mph - 1 min
4mph - 1 min
3mph - 4 min
4mph - 1 min
3mph - 1 min
4mph - 1 min
3mph - 5 min
2mph - 5 min

i was definately breathing hard in the middle there but by the end i could breathe okay then. what do you all think? i probably "could" go over 4mph but its like a fast jog for me because im only 5"1'. :) im super proud of myself that im doing it at all. :D

  • That sounds like a good workout for the treadmill! It's basically high intensity interval training, on a lower scale. Best way to lose fat, apparently. Keep up with it and work up your minutes slowly :)

    Sounds like a good plan. I always just hit a setting on the treadmill at the Y and forget about it.
