I am getting angry with the fact that people constantly ask me about surgery  ... I guess today was my last straw when my mother sat next to me with a straight face and said, "seriously when did you have your breast reduced, you can tell me"...It made me so mad I have worked my assets off to lose this 125 pounds it’s been a long journey!!
Not to mention as I got fatter and fatter no one said hey you are really getting scary big:grumble: ... I don’t know is it just me??? I constantly get this question and it irritates me to no ENDS!!! :explode: Ok I'm done...BTW I am not downing anyone who has had surgery...My aunt and cousins have had it... I am just stating not all of us "FAT" people have went that route...

congratulations to you!
ya, it is so frustrating when people think you must have "cheated" or had some "magic" to get to your goal. Actually I think believing that makes it easier for them to keep sittin' on the couch, eating their chips.0 -
Congratulations on all your hard work!!!
People are just funny that way, don't let it get you down!0 -
Disclaimer: I have had weight loss surgery - gastric lap band.
Congratulations on achieving your great success. I wish I had been able to do it without surgery, but, I am also glad that I had the opportunity to get the lapband and also enjoy success.
As another poster said, it is because some people look on weight loss surgery as the easy or cheat's way out.
You know that you have worked damned hard to achieve your results.
I have also had to work hard to achieve my results. The lapband is simply another tool in my kit.
None of us should be looked down on for using whatever tools are available to us on this journey, so long as we are making healthy choices and achieving healthy outcomes.
Keep up your great work!0
