I always start with Eminem. From there, I go with upbeat, fun pop music, techno/electronica, hip-hop/rap - basically anything that has good bass and is upbeat. When lifting, I like "angry" music. Something in the many rock genres.

Basically, I am just like the rest of the general population. (:

I listen to upbeat music. Techno, electronica, dubstep, trance. If you have Pandora you can plug in the genre's and you'll get a constant pace of music. It's also a good way to get the names of songs/artists you like.

Rise against, (old school) AFI, Bad Religion, MXPX, the first my chemical romance album. If its fast and angry/punky sounding it keeps my pace.

Pandora radio has been doing it for me! Since it shuffles around I get the mix of that type of music. I literally go from some days listening to Tool radio, 70s hits, southern hip hop, 90s alternative, pretty lights, and today Sublime radio was working! It just depends on if I'm struggling through my workout. This morning was a struggle for the first 15 but then I got into my zone and the sounds of Sublime, Bob Marley, and Slighty Stoopid kept me rolling!

Indoors I listen to Bone Thugs N Harmony or anything with a beat more rapid than my workout HR. Outdoors, where I prefer to do my training I just listen to nature.
