I was wondering if anyone has used the NuWave PIC yet? If so do you see any postives or negatives about this product. I am hesitant about order a product from a info-merchial but it seem like it would be a very ideal for someone like me who lives in a college setting.

Yes, I have the NuWave PIC.
This appliance has replaced my gas range. Temperature is maintained perfectly. This is very helpful when doing deep-fat frying. Or it is helpful to maintain a simmering temperature.
The unit can be programmed. This is important to me because of long working hours. I can program the unit to come on at a certain time so when I arrive home the cooking is in progress.
The appliance is portable so I can take it with me on trips and cook in my home.
The PIC is safe around children. Only the cooking utensil get warm, not the edge of the unit.
I prepare eggs every morning. I have made a beef stew. I have made yogurt. The list goes on and on.
I have found NO negatives with this unit at all. Hope this helps. I'm sure you will say that this is one of the wisest kitchen purchases you have ever made if you order one. I encourage you to do so.0
