If you're really sweating and giving it your all, can I consider that High Impact Aerobics?

generally hi impact aerobics is where both feet spend some time off the ground, eg jogging, running, skipping, hopping ect but if you have at least 1 foot on the ground eg walking, stepping, squats lunges, side steps and grapevines etc it is considered low impact, and yes you are right if done right low impact can be just as demanding. (ssshhh don't tell anyone I use to be a fitness instructor 3 years ago, embarassing isn't it!)

It would probably be better to log it under walking if you want to get a correct calorie count. There are different speeds from a slow stroll to a very quick pace.

That is what I do. The 15 min mile works out to 4mph so I log it under walking brisk 4mph at the length of time I do it.
  • Thanks! Off to go log it in, right after I collapse.
