Approximate it by determining how many you do per min and logging it in as running. It isn't much different as running in place.

Go to the Exercise tab and type jumping rope-it has options for fast, moderate, and slow. I heard jumping rope REALLY burns calories fast- I put in 10 minutes of moderate and it said 178 calories!!! I need to join you and your friends! LOL Good luck!

Does anyone know where you can get a beaded or a strong/heavy jump rope that won't twist or tangle? I've been looking for a good one that's now super expensive.

This one is $10 on amazon.com

There are a bunch of them on there for ~$10 or less, some are more.

jumping rope for 10 minutes would KILL ME, i don't know what your endurance is like, but it is really, really tough. i recently bought one thinking i could master it, and i can't do it for longer than 2 minutes without heaving.
