I have been running a home daycare for 9 years now. I have 3 kids, 13, 12, and 3. I love being at home for my kids and being my own boss, but I hate it that families come and go....as well as my paycheck does. I have kids here now but just part time. I'm thinking about a new job and doing something else, but I just don't know what I want to do. I've thought about school again, but I don't have the extra money for it right now. It was suggested to me to offer to make scrapbooks or cupcakes or even offer to sell others items on ebay which is all fine and dandy, but I need a real, steady paycheck. Anyone have any ideas that I haven't though of yet?

If you want to go back to school, you should apply for FAFSA and see if you qualify for grants.

I guess what you want to do would depend on how much extra income you would want to bring in and how many hours you would want to dedicate to doing it. There are online customer service positions and the such that you can work from home. I don't know how easy they are to come by, but even some hotel chains have positions you can work from home in different areas of the country.
