Bodymedia fit help needed

for some reason my usb cord has decided to be mean and wont sync my bodymedia fit to my computer. the computer recognizes me plugging in the usb cord and BMF but it says there is an error. i have tried another cord, rebooting the computer. NOTHING works. any help is greatly appreciated!!

    Have you tried resetting your BMF by holding the button down for 20 seconds?

    If you cannot get it to work, I highly recommend contacting the company for help (they have a contact page on their website). I've had to do that before when a BMF I had quit syncing and they replaced it for me because it was still under the 1 year warranty period.

    i will try holding down the button for 20 seconds. i will contact them if this doesn't work. THANKS!!

    I get that error too on occasion when I take it right off and try to plug it in. I now wait till it beeps after a couple of second after taking it off before I plug it in.
