Back and moving forward

Hi, my name's is Mary. I started with "My Fitness Pal" last June I believe. Loved it. I was also working out and getting good results. From May to Oct I had lost about 20lbs. Then in Oct I was with my daughter having her baby for two weeks and in November my husband's back went out and he was totally incapacited. I gave up exercising (everything) to care for him. I started stress eating and gained 9lbs back.

By February he was doing well enough I could start working out again, but it wasn't until April when I wasn't seeing results I started back using "my fitness pal". What a difference. It's not like the weight started falling off, but it really made me think about what I was putting in my mouth. I've tried to stick to the 1200 calories a day trying to eat as healthy as possible. It certainly helps to see a tablesoon of butter is 100 calories. I exercise almost everyday and about 3 days ago I started drinking 9 glasses of water a day. I also within the last week added interval training into my treadmill workouts.

Finally the last two days I've started seeing some results and have lost 3 lbs since Friday. I'd love to have a friend or two here to keep me accountable. My youngest daughter is getting married September 2nd and I'm going to meet my goal at least by July if not sooner to get into my mother of the bride dress I plan to buy.
