These all sound yummy, would like to try some!
In the mornings I make this smoothie
1-frozen banana
1/2 scoop chocolate slimfast
1/2 TB peanut butter
1 cup skim milk
Tastes just like an ice cream shake but a little less than 300 calories- great for a breakfast on the run0 -
I dont think I can get past putting spinach in with fruit. Just cannot wrap my head around it. Who knows maybe I will get brave one day.... until then
1/2 cup light yogurt (vanilla or fruit depends on the mood)
1 cup frozen berries, I prefer strawberries, hubby prefers blueberries
1/2 cup lowfat or skim milk
blend until smoothied
I felt the same way...and then had some of someone elses and was COMPLETELY surprised!!! In no way do you taste spinach. If it was a blind taste test you would have been fooled.0 -

Oh yummy!!! I think I will have to try the spinach.
I have one.
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
8 oz milk
1 banana
.5 cup pineapple
dash of coconut extract
YUMMY!!!0 -
I take my bananas (that are getting a little too ripe for me) skin and slice and put in the freezer. Then, when I want a cold smoothie, I add them to the mix and it makes it thick and creamy. 8)0

I love green smoothies. It really helps if you get a good powerful blender. This will make a nice consitency smoothie without any floaties and you can put anything you want in them.
I use a bunch of organic spinach
1 bannana
4-5 large strawberries
quarter cup of frozen fruit
1 spoon flax seed
dash of spirulina
1 spoon of acerola berry powder
2 spoons of protien powder
1 spoon of wheat grass powder
1/4 spoon of powdered vitamin c
4 oz of Bolthouse Farms fruit smoothie (bannana/ Strawberry or others)
Add water and ice and blend. You can add as much water as you like depending on your desired consistency.
I try to mix my greens around every so often to some other organic mixes too.
If you like it sweeter add honey, or yogurt or more fruit and less greens.
Its a great way to start the morning, its quick, filling and it makes you feel like you did something goof for yourself.
Hope this help.
Good luck and keep moving.0 -
