SKINCARE: BB Creams

So the other day, as a reward for hitting a certain fitness goal, I ordered myself my first BB Cream.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BB_cream <<<if you're curious
I got one from Skinfood, which is a brand I've read a lot of buzz about, and, after only a week of use, my skin has actually cleared up a bit. The redness around my nose has lightened, several pimple scars are GONE, plus it has spf ( ), is moiusturizing, is NOT greasy, and it gives better coverage than my regular liquid foundation.
So in conclusion, I am having a great face day. And if anyone is interested in getting something a little more kick-*kitten* than regular old liquid foundation or tinted moisturizer, look into BB creams.
I will be ordering a few from other brands as well, and another couple skinfood samples soon
Does anyone else use BB Creams? Any recommendations on brands to try?

I saw in a recent magazine where Garnier has come out with there own line of "Miracle Skin Perfector B.B. Cream foundation" and want to try it. I'm not sure how much it costs but the adds make it look like it transforms your face from night to day!! Plus it's over the counter. I'll let you know if I do try it.0

the Garnier BB cream is in my local wal-mart, and i almost picked up a pack, but their Light/Medium would be much too dark for me and they don't seem to carry a PASTY/White
the internet reviews for the Garnier bb cream haven't been great, but they're all from cosmetic snobs so i take them with a grain (nay, spoonful) of salt. garnier usually makes WONDERFUL products for the price!0 -
I too LOVE BB cream! I use Smashbox's brand, and it is totally amazing. Today I'm wearing BB cream with bronzer and its a quick fix for when I'm running short on time and can't do my normal make up routine and it lasts all day! It's my new favorite beauty product!:happy:0

I secretly tried some at Ulta, it was the Garnier and it was medium color, I think, I could not tell any difference, so I didn't buy it. I am thinking of getting a couple to try from Sephora and wanted to see what other people were liking. So Smashbox is good?0

I just bought the Garnier BB cream yesterday and tried it out yesterday and today. So far, I like it! I have very light skin, but the light/medium works great for me, it looks much darker in the bottle that it comes out. Yesterday, I wore just the cream and today I wore the cream and a little blush. Super easy, I was using the mineral make-up and this is sooo much quicker and lighter!!0

Smashbox does a BB Cream? I'll have to look into that. . .0

I have the Garnier one, Light/Medium and it is just a tad too dark for me (I am very fair as well). I like the consistency as it is a little more coverage than a tinted moisturizer but less heavy than foundation but I notice it makes me a bit shiny and I have never had an issue with that before. Also, I am noticing some breakouts and it is the only new product I am using so I think it's the culprit. I will have to try some of the recommendations on here. I would love to find a good one for the summer as opposed to a full foundation product.0

Is it like an actual cream, or make-up?0

What I've heard is that these new "BB creams" are not real BB creams. They are more like very tinted day lotions.
I had tester of Garnier's BB cream and it was no different from my make up base. Well apart from not being as good. But I'm glad that someone finds them useful0 -
Is it like an actual cream, or make-up?
kind of both. most of them are simply a tinted moisturizer. many contain sunscreen. those marketed in Asia (where they are SUPER popular) often have whitening agents. Those marketed in Europe and the USA may include bronzers. Some have anti-wrinkle additives such as collagen.0 -
Well stinkers! I was going to try it out......don't know if I will now. Hmmmmmm0

the latest Allue mag had samples of the Garnier in both light/medium and medium/dark and I tried them two days in a row. I don't think they are moisturizing enough for me and don't really improve the texture or uneveness of my skin, so I will keep looking.0
