Starting from the begining.. Need your advice!!

It is with major mixed emotions that I write this post, my original plan back when I started this whole thing in Jan. was to be at my goal weight by my bday (May 21st) however I managed to screw around and yo yo my way to two weeks before my bday and I’m still 30lbs shy of my goal weight :-( I am so mad at myself for waiting all the time, falling for gimmicks that I couldn’t stick to and just plain being lazy and unhealthy (to much alcohol and fast food!!) however I don’t want to keep going this way.. My cousin who started at the same time as me is posting about her 41lb weight loss and how she is now a size 4! I could die but instead of crawling under a rock and remaining fat I decided to look at the bright side.. I still have several important dates coming up my anniversary, hubbies bday and my sons bday and I still have some time before summer is in full swing so let’s get going bri!!
This is what I was thinking, let me know if you think it’s possible, I don’t want to be too hard on myself:
*1st goal= 9 weeks until my anniversary= I would like to be down 18lbs
*2nd goal= 15 weeks until my hubbies bday= I would like to be 25lbs down
*3rd goal= 21 weeks until my sons bday= I would like to be 30-35 lbs down and at my goal (My goal is 135-140 depending on how I look, leaning more towards 140 since I am tall 5'7 and big boned lol)
My plan is to start JMs 30day shred tomorrow with my fellow MFP msmith2020 ;-) and do that 6x a week along with my normal 2-3 miles a day walks that I do while on my 15min breaks and lunch time at work. I don’t have money for the gym so Jms strength training is going to have to be enough along with walking and hiking during the week.
Before I was focusing on low carb but I realize now that is just not sustainable for me and I feel to restricted which leads to binge eating therefore I'm looking at the big picture, Calories where set at 1500 but since I wasn’t consistent with my exercise it screwed me in the end so new plan is as follows:
Calories a day: 1200-1400 depending on activity level
Carb a day: 70-85
Fat a day: Under 70
Protein: 90+ depending on activity level
Fiber: 20+
Water: 10+ 8 ounce cups based on activity
And to help kick my butt back into the swing of things I'm putting a bar on the following for the next 30days-
1. No Fast Food
2. No Soda (even though all I drink is diet)
3. No alcohol except on Friday and Saturdays
4. No candy/donuts/pastries (This won’t be to hard I'm not a sweet tooth person I just want to cleanse my system completely to give myself the best start.
It kills me to have to say it but after losing 50lbs than gaining 20 back I think its best I get back to the basics, starts from the bottom once again therefore I'm clearing my ticker to start at the weight I am now which means 0 lbs lost. I gotta do this!!
What do you think? Any advice/tips? My food journal and exercise log are open feel free to take a look but remember I starting fresh today!!

We can do this!! lol
I dont know about the numbers being realistic (idk how quickly you lost the original 50), but I DO think that you will meet A goal before each of these events!!! What is that goal you ask?! Completing the list you have made and sticking to this workout plan we have made!!by doing this I know you will lose somethng before these date come and you should be proud about whatever that number is!!
My 23rd birthday is June 20th- so a little over a month away. From what I have accomplished so far I really dont think anything is realistic for me to plan to lose before then.. since its been 2 months and I have only lost 5IB, see what I mean? lol
But I have a goal as well.. Something to hit before my 23rd birthday! (Other than my long term goal of losing 30 pounds by June 2013 (the month before I go to... LONDON ENGLAND!! LOL ) I want to have stuck with this workout plan every day.. every second no matter how tired I am or how much I want to quit!
So I hope that I am honest with you along the way, that I dont pretend to do a workout and really be sitting on the couch. I want to have to report to you every day after every workout.. Can you handle that? lol I need to turn my life around and I know that after a month of being this active (by our cardio/workout schedule) that we will want to jump into the next workout and then the next. I have many plans after this first initial challenge.. but I have to start this one before completing and starting another one!!
But like I said... We can do this!!0 -
