Motivation Advice!

Sometimes when I think of where I want my weight to be at I get really upset because it seems so far away! Lately I've been setting little goals though and I find it works out great! It gives me motivation! I take 5 lbs at a time and when I get to my little goals it feels awesome! Just thought it might help others out here :)

    I do the same thing! I have to- otherwise I just get down, frustrated, and I end up falling off the wagon. I just try to tell myself- okay, if I lost the first 5 lbs, then I can lose the next, and the next, and the next, until I finally get to my ultimate goal. One thing I've learned is that if I constantly compare myself to my 120-lb high school swimmer self, it will be a looooong time before I'm remotely happy. Instead, I try to think about the 195-lb person I was when I started this and I think about how far I've come since then- that's a much better feeling :)
