Doctor rant

Hey all. I just have to rant a bit.
On Tuesday my doctor said I have PCO or PCOS. Apparently there is a difference. he took a blood sample and told me he would call me back in 2 days latest. Ever since I have been so upset and worried, waiting for my blood test results and whatever it would tell me.
He didnt call yesterday as promised and when I sent a message to his PA she replied this morning saying she has just been given a tape to type off and she will sent me the letter as soon as it is ready. That was at 09:00. I dont like her, she is a really arrogant person. Since I hadnt heard back from her at 2pm this afternoon I sent her another message telling her that she please sends me the reply today as I am very worried and dont want to have to wait for the feedback until Monday (just because she can't be bothered to type it off). She hasnt replied since and now it is 4:30pm!
I bet just because I chased her up she will now leave it until just ebfore she goes home to send me the reply and I have been sitting here worrying all day! I dont want to have to wait through the weekend for the result. Some people just dont care do they .

Sounds like it may be time to shop for a new doctor.
They (and WE) often forget that they are a freelance employee of ours. And just like any other business...poor service and bad attitude drives customers away.

I was diagnosed with PCOS at 17 and at first it was really scary but there were things that I could do to limit the symptoms and complications. I'm not the biggest fan of doctors and what not so I know how you feel.

It just sucks. She just sent me an email to tell me that "I understand fully your worries, but unfortunately I was not able to finish the typing tonight" !!! :explode:

I told her to get him to call me and she said she would leave my file and my number on his desk.

of course there wa sno rush for her, it's not her problem is it. :explode:
