HRM Help Please!

I wore my hrm to work today (I am a 2 year old teacher at a daycare) and I burned just over 1000 calories in a little under 4 hours (changing my activity level from sedentary to active only adds 310 calories so that's not really accurate). I'm trying to figure out the best way to log this without counting any calories twice (calories I would burn sitting around doing nothing that are already accounted for). I'm thinking of keeping my activity level at lightly active and subtracting what I would regularly burn in 4 hours from the 1000 my hrm logged and then adding that as exercise. Does this sound okay or does anyone have a better suggestion?!
