how many carbs is too many? i've been trying for 150-180g range but today i hit about 230 grams. i would say half of it was fruit and half pretzels. could i gain weight from this?

The amount that is too many would be an amount that doesn't allow you to get in adequate fats and protein and/or puts you in a surplus for the day. This is assuming you don't have a condition that requires you to keep carbs in check0
