Hey all,
Now that its getting hot in AZ Im losing my appetite. Ive always been this way with the heat. It upsets my stomach. Any suggestions. Dont want every meal to be a frozen protein shake.
Moving is not an option.
Thanx in advance

I live in PA, and although we don't get the heat like you do, we do have some pretty hot & humid summers. I feel your pain. I work as a Traffic Control Technician (aka: flagger- holding the stop/slow paddle or red flag at paving sites/highways). My day starts before the sun comes up and most often ends after the sun goes down. I have to plan my lunchbox accordingly which is not easy when on those hot days all you want to fill your lunchbox with is frozen water. I try concentrating on cold items. Things that are light as I don't want bogged down with heavy foods. I try to eat alot of fresh fruits, vegetables that don't need cooked (raw state), string cheese, rolled up lunchmeats. I just started MFP the end of March and this summer will be a challenge with meeting my calories (I know that already). When I get home I just want to shower and go to bed. I don't want to cook or eat. I think I'm gonna try adding things like yogurt, jello, try making my own protein shakes. I may need to take two lunchboxes: one for drinks and one for food!0
