Dress up

Who here besides me likes to play dress up now? I just got done trying stuff on in my closet....I love to try on stuff that is way too big now, or try on tanks and halters that actually look good on me now.

I used to loathe summer clothes because at least in colder weather, you can hide under sweaters and sweatshirts and long sleeves. But in summer when your overweight, your only option is tshirts because I never felt comfortable in cute summer clothes. But I love all the cute shirts I can wear now!

It's weird though....I plan on wearing a shirt tomorrow that's basically a strapless shirt, but it has a spaghetti strap halter....I know it's not, but since I'm not used to these kind of shirts, I feel kind of naked in it. Like I am wearing some horribly inappropriate shirt or something, lol.

    Talk about summer clothes, lol. I still wear some of the clothes I wore in the winter months. I DO NOT wear shorts....currently have no capris...and when it comes to shirts...they have to be atleast 3/4 sleeves long :sad: Let me tell ya, it gets pretty hot :yawn: but I don't feel comftorable in clothes that shows any skin. Well, there's my poor, poor, pittiful me story, lol. I AM REALLY HAPPY FOR YOU THOUGH, it must be so awsome putting on clothes that were once too small, and now WAY too big. My time will come :happy: And next summer, i'll be wearing strapless for sure :laugh:

    Thats what I think! Enjoy it!

    (it's funny how somethings are ok for others but we feel exposed:laugh: time to get use to wearing cute things!)

    yeahh shorts = still not my friend. and i'm uncomfortable not being able to wear a hoodie because of the heat.. although sometimes i say screw it and still do :bigsmile:

    otherwise i noticed i'm enjoying trying on all my old ballet leotards and bathing suits.. not that i wear them in public mind you :laugh:
