Today I learnt...

I have had a realisation today.

I have had a huge two days at school in terms of thinking and learning. I was tired this afternoon and my first thought was I am tired and hungry - pizza, ice cream for dinner. I am retrained enough now to automatically think, no, not what I actually want. Then realised later that I am not tired and hungry, just tired. I think in the past I have connected the two together too much. When I thought about what I had eaten today there was plenty of great food during the day. So, I had chicken and eggs for dinner, easy, but a long way from pizza and ice cream.

So, moral of the story?? I really am changing and actually able to more realistically realise whether or not I am actually hungry. A good realisation.

What have you learnt along the way?

just thinking the same thing today... I have been cookie cake and candy free for 6 weeks because I would rather use my calories for real food, I was at the movies Sat night and wanted popcorn and anything sweet. I t is just in my head not my stomach, I was not hungry just connect movies with junk food.
