Loosing weight to avoid possible health issues

:love: Hi everyone, I'm just new at this site. I am near the 300 mark and am determined to loose at least 150lb. I'm trying to avoid any health issues that I'm at risk for because of my age and weight. I'm post menapausal and for some reason when I quit smoking the weight just creeped on. I really want to avoid any heart problems or diabetis and of course my ultimet goal would be to fly in an airplane and actully fit in the seat without getting squished between the arm rests and not having to ask the flight attendent for a seat belt extender lol. No really, I want to do this for health! Once something devistating happens to you with your health, you cant wish it back. Im looking for friends that are in a similar situation and also have a lot of weight to loose. Have a fantastic day and eat lots of fruits and veggies
