I'm thinking no... but wanted to hear what you all think.

Thanks!

I eat a ton of fiber - the only issue is when you first start out high fiber it may be a little hard on your system. It helps to drink plenty of water to keep everything moving. I don't think you could ever consider too much fiber a bad thing - but maybe someone knows something I don't.

Well, in extremes, sure, but how often are you really going to wind up at 100g+ of fiber? And even then, it's just going to be some discomfort until you pass it all, most likely.

I get about 70 g of fiber daily...only thing it has done to me, that I know of, is make my poops rediculous. #TMITuesday

    Never.

Although I'm sure you'd get some crazy gas at some point...

There is some kind of fiber diet that claims that every gram over 35 of fiber you can have so many more calories a day.

As long as you drink plenty of water, nope. If you're constipated, then yup!

Sure. If you are in the bathroom all the time with super loose stools you might be getting a bit much. But really, what is the possibility of that? If you are like me, you are going over because you eat mostly natural foods and they have a lot more fiber "bang" per calorie. If you are a woman, as you age, you have to bump it anyway due to hormone issues =)

Right... I am not trying to eat a bunch of fiber just to eat fiber. (Colon Blow Cereal, anyone :) ) It's just that I do try to eat natural foods, whole grains, like to add chia to stuff ...
