Over carbs but meeting calorie goal?

So I decided to pre log dinner and a snack to see and I'm over in my carbs already. I want to add 2 slices of my sprouted grain bread to my portobello mushroom burger. The carbs I ate today, and everyday are from sprouted grains, no flour. I usually eat alot of healthy fats too and I always go over, way over in calories...trying to get a grip today lol What do you think, is going over on good carbs that bad? BTW the 2 slices of bread would be about 16 more carbs I think, Ill double check

I'm no expert. I'm still learning. But if it's healthy foods I don't even pay attention to the carbs or sugar. I go over my sugar every single day just from fruit. I don't go over my carbs a lot, but when I do it's also from fruit. I haven't had any issues losing.

Assuming you're not diabetic I wouldn't worry too much about it, but that being said it's not really the extra carbs that are going to matter (assuming caloric deficit), it's the fact that in doing so, you're falling short of protein and/or fat grams.

Short answer: Don't worry about it.
Bonus answer: Probably best not to neglect protein and fat for long periods of time and/or by a large amount.

Oh dont worry I NEVER lack in healthy fats/ protein...I usually go over, I'm vegan so I eat alot of nut butters, avocado, tempeh, uinoa etc. I have just been eating alot of calories lately, sometimes 2400-2800 so I want to actually meet my calorie goal...

It drives me crazy when I eat super healthy all day and see that I am over on vit c, iron, protein, sugars etc...almost everything even though I ate healthy! So I try not to worry about it, and don't bother even looking. I think carbs from processed foods like crackers and pasta is different than carbs from whole grains and fruit. Plus, if you have no problem losing while eating that way, you know there is nothing wrong with it.

I don't think I was clear with my post.

If you are UNDER your calorie goal and you are OVER your carb goal, then you must be UNDER either protein, or fat, or both, unless your numbers are out of whack and don't add up properly.
