2 weeks off!

I have unfortunately not been able to do a real workout in 2 whole weeks due to a combination of being sick, traveling and generally feeling lazy/tired/stressed out. I am forcing myself to get back on the horse today as soon as I get home from work. My question is: should I do my regular 5k workout, or do a shorter easier run? Do you think 2 weeks is long enough that my stamina/fitness level has taken a hit?

For me, two weeks is enough that I feel like crap when I return to my workouts. Everyone is different, but be prepared that you may not be at your previous fitness level. I would say do your usual 5k, but maybe be prepared to take some walking breaks, or run at a slower pace. Good news is that 2 weeks is short enough that the fitness comes back pretty quickly.0
