Cooking question

Okay, so I cut up and sauteed a bunch of peppers to eat throughout the week. Before I cooked them, they weighed 25 ounces. After sauteeing, I weighed them again, and it was 18 ounces. I am assuming that they naturally contain water and the water evaporated from cooking, correct? But anyway, my real question is...which do I log, cooked or uncooked weight? I know it's not really a HUGE difference, but I'm just curious.

I would choose cooked.0

I'd only log "cooked" weight if MFP gives you that option...otherwise, for veggies, I always log the fresh weight, choosing to err on the high side. Veggies are low-cal anyway, so you're not killing the accuracy of your numbers much either way.0

I would also use the cooked weight0

Whatever option MFP gives you. Sometimes they have options for things like baked or boiled but I generally use raw weight anyways since I weigh mostly everything I eat before I cook it.0
