shouldn't have gotten on the scale today

Just started "diet" on Monday, and got on the scale today.... BIG mistake. It's worse than i thought!

    It's good to know where you're starting, so you can look back and see all you have accomplished.

    Also, I know this is new to you, but you have to think of it as a new lifestyle, not a diet. Diets end, and then you revert to your old ways and gain the weight back. Make the choice to lose it for good!

    You should feel GREAT knowing you will never have to see that number again. Use that fire it lit under you as motivation! Get going now. Keep reminding yourself why you're doing this, and it will keep your determination strong!

    No, shouldn't get back on the scale today, or probably tomorrow, if you are like me. The scale totally freaks me out. Agree with others, now you have a starting point and can more easily set realistic goals for calories, exercise, etc.
